Orphans, blind on one eye and hungry, Lucca tries to change shoes on the food. Unfortunately, residents of the village are not very careful about their local homeless cripples and pushed him on the way of the oncoming carriage. Fortunately for Lucca, what could be a terrible death, it turns out to be a kind of fate. The passenger, Edgar, is a bright blue-eyed nobleman who invites Luccu to help him end up with his loneliness. They become the same close as brothers, and Lucca becomes a brilliant, useful servant and a true friend. But once a month Edgar leaves the estate for three days and trusts Lucca to feed his "pet" in a tower-beautiful black wolf with light blue eyes.
