    One day, Sakura Kinomoto accidentally opened a book containing dozens of magic cards, called Clow cards, and they were scattered through her native city of Tomoad. Sakura was chosen by the master of these cards and was recruited by the Sun keeper Kerberos to use his magic and return these cards before they would cause more problems in the city. Her best friend Tomoo Daidji is encouraging her and meets the competing kidnapper of Xiaoran's cards, which is a direct descendant of CLOU card creator.
