In the mid-1990s, Yasuhiro Imagawa adapted the original manga to Mitstera Ekoyama, Giant Robo, in the 7-Private OVA series called Giant Robo: The Animation-the Day The Earth Stood Stold. The adaptation of the IMAGAVE has greatly moved away from the gigantic robbery of the Ekoyama, presenting mainly the original history, which included characters and items taken from several other projects of Ekoyama, such as Tetsujin 28 and Babel II. Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Burned-Another story installed in the Universe created in Giant Robo: The Animation, in which the young Dissaca Kusama commands Giant Robo, the most powerful robot in our world, in a battle with an underground terrorist organization known as Big fire.
