Fuva Vataru is a schoolboy who loves cute things, such as plush toys. Once he is in the game room, trying to win a cute new plush teddy bear when the thugs appear to pursue it. Running from them, he faces a very special game in catching toys in which there is a naked man. A man calls himself a "Moffer Tar" (by the name of a teddy bear) and insists that it is a stuffed animal. It seems that he has real stuffed animals and tail, at least. Follow the Vataru home, deciding to become his new stuffed animal. The life of Vataru becomes even more strange when his teddy bear Mumu-Tan begins to speak, and he must figure out how to hide his new "scarecrow" to the Moffer.
