21-year-old Ryu Yong Son is going to start a mandatory military service in the Army of the Republic of Korea. But unlike most other recruits, he and four of others are appointed in the rescue unit of the Mountain Police, deployed on the mountain of Book, a small mountain outside Seoul. Not knowing about it, they think that it will be a walk in the park, and consider themselves happy that they got such a convenient task. But when they reach the mountains, the group will soon find out that they are waiting for more than they expected.
