Goro has just come out of prison, but the policeman wants to immediately talk to him. He declares him that his wife is dead, and that he must go to Tiba and pick her body. Goro does not remember that he had a wife, but then he recalls that he had long married Chinese. He married her for his money, and she married him, because he needed a Japanese visa for work. In fact, she is a prostitute that came to Japan in the hope of finding the best life. At first, it does not bother this situation, but it goes to Tiba only because it can earn a lot of money. Later, during his journey, Goro find a letter that she wrote to him, and through him discovers a pure person who is under this vulgar prostitute. She is a woman of such kindness and love that Goro touched, having learned something about a woman on which he married.
