The first volume is mainly of unrelated stories of crazy scientists and a quiet science fiction drama. Volume 2 and Next (?): Miss China-Pleasant Woman who rents a place in the brilliant professor of Brequenridge and his assistant Jim Floyd. While Jim cannot afford a rent for his room, he spends his money for all sorts of crazy invention to skip China and conquer his heart. Note: It seems a lot of controversial information about this series. (Number of volumes, synopsis, etc.). I found only one website, a Spanish publisher who recognizes that there are three volumes instead of one or two. English websites seem to recognize only the plot arc Miss China, which is undoubtedly the most famous due to the fact that it has been adapted to the anime OVA.
