Sternbilda is a house for many people of different races, origins and people who call themselves Next. Then there are people who possess special abilities. These are superheroes that protect the world in the city. The story is mainly focused on the veteran hero of Kotetsu t. Kaburagi (he is a wild tiger), which has been appointed a new partner: a young man named Barnabi Brooks Jr., working together, since they have contradictory opinions about how the superhero should act. Kotetsu is determined to do what is better for people, while Barnabi devoted himself to superhero in the hope of ever to detect the killer of his parents.
