Tokhko and Vataru were childhood friends. Vataru was pretty cowardly, so Tokhko always had to defend him from thugs. Then he and his family moved to Germany and lost a connection. Years later, Vataru returns to Japan only for the first year of high school, when Tokhko studies at the second century of high school. How it was before, grown extremely high for his age and much more persistent and aggressive.
